The Prize “Tremplin Mariano gago”, was awarded to Mariette Pereira, in partnership with Éva Jakab Tóth, from the Center de Biophysique Moléculaire, with the project “Specific contrast agents for biomarkers visualization by magnetic resonance imaging“. This award was launched with the aim of highlighting and strengthening bilateral cooperation in investigations already underway by teams from France and Portugal, promoting the continuation and expansion of joint research work.
The Prize Tremplin Mariano Gago was awarded by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and the French Academy of Sciences. It also has the support of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the French Ministry of Culture, the Camões Institute – Institute for Cooperation and Language and the Portuguese Office for Strategy, Planning and Cultural Assessment. The award ceremony took place on June 21, 2022, at the French Academy of Sciences.
